The birth of your baby is an important and special time, becoming new parents is both exciting and challenging. At Birth Talk we provide a specialist service which is led by practising registered midwives with many years experience of childbirth education and working within the NHS.

Choose from an extensive range of ante and postnatal courses, workshops and social groups which promote choice and options for birth and parenthood. In association with Hands on Holistics we also offer a variety of complementary therapies and One to One's together with baby massage.

If you would enjoy meeting other new parents and parents to be to be in small, friendly and relaxed groups to share ideas and develop skills with a midwife or two on hand, Birth Talk is for you.

All our courses, workshops, therapy sessions and groups are held in a purpose built studio, designed to our own specification. The Birth Talk studio is a light, airy and comfortable contemporary space overlooking landscaped gardens located in Old Knighton, Leicester.

Baby Tuesday at John Lewis
Due to the Jubilee celebrations in June, there will be no Baby Tuesday at John Lewis. We meet again in July at The Place To Eat, John Lewis, on Tuesday the 3rd 10.30-12.00 noon, the “Hot Topic” will be, “Grandparents – roles and expectations all round”, refreshments all £1. The Baby Circle
The Birth Talk Baby Circle is proving ever popular; we think the word is spreading about the decent cup of coffee and home made cakes. Due to holidays, we meet just once in May on Wednesday the 9th from 10.30-12.00 noon. See you there!

Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshop
Midwives Rocky May and Pam Farmer will be holding a half day Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshop for expectant mothers, exploring the process of how a baby begins to feed, addresses common anxieties and offering some practical skills for the early weeks.
